It is a brass pooja, a milk container that the Indian community uses to deliver milk to temples for ceremonial purposes. Water for priests was originally kept in this Kamandal pot. Handmade with a gorgeous natural finish and a lovely spherical form. The containers used to bring water from the revered Ganges were marketed as water jugs or Ganga Jamna, Jal, or Jamuna. It is well-made and has a screw-on cover that fits snugly.
