Engraved Oriental Measuring Cup 1/16 Seer

Brass seer measures ranging in size from 1/64 seer to 1 seer, about 1920. The cups were made in Bombay and have a beautiful patina as well as many metal work markings. Prior until the mid-twentieth century, the seer was a traditional Asian measure of mass and volume. The seer weighs 1.25 kilogrammes (1.792 lbs) in India.
