Here is a lovely late nineteenth century hand-chased ornamental water kettle, Tea or Coffee pot. The pot is a samovar, with a tin-lined section for pouring water and an inner chamber for burning wood to boil water, with perforations around the base allowing air to sustain the burning. It is most likely from Persia or Kashmir, and it is made of copper with a brass handle and cap.
