This Urli is traditionally handmade by skilled Indian workers from the south using ancient techniques. It has a hammered pattern and is engraved with attractive designs on the surface. It has two handles and a stand at the bottom. Urli was used as cookware in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Due to its size and heavy weight, it was placed on the chulha for cooking. Over time, people began to use it for decoration. Fill it with water and float candles or flowers in it and place on the entrance.
